The name is the reef: broken coral along a clear shore at Tambakrejo. People snorkel the pockets.
Snorkel the pools and walk the broken edge at low tide. Weekday entry Rp4.000, weekend Rp6.000. Parking: motorcycle Rp5.000, car Rp10.000. The list marks it open 24 hours. From the center of Malang it is 70 km, about 2 – 2.5 hours. Best time on this list: Morning (07:00–10:00) or late afternoon (15:00–17:00). Do not stand on living coral. Swim in the pockets and stay inside the reef.
